Kind Friends,
This year marks 20 years of Viva la Muerte! We have a lot of exciting plans to help celebrate this milestone in 2025, and we hope you'll join us somewhere down the road, whether that's on the coast, the mountains, or right here in our old backyard, Greensboro.
We will do our best to keep everyone updated through this blog and our newsletter, no more than a couple posts a month, we promise, but here's a bit of what's coming.
NEW MUSIC
Keep an eye out for "The Sleeping Giant" and "Night Church" dropping this summer.

SPRING EQUINOX FESTIVAL
It is that time of year again… On Saturday, March 22nd, we will join Jesse Dunks and Ladies Auxiliary at Oden Brewing for the annual Spring Equinox Festival! We hit the stage at 1pm. Come on out!
SUPPORT WESTERN NORTH CAROLINA
Until March 22nd, we'll be giving half of our merch sales to our friends in Western Carolina via Samaritan's Purse. Head on over to our Music Shop or Merch Shop to pick up some VLM swag and helps us give back to Western North Carolina.

AMAZON REGISTRY
One of our goals for our 20th anniversary is to have enough microphones and equipment for us to have the ability to use in-ear monitors and be able to get high quality audio recordings of every show. We put together a registry on Amazon to help us achieve this goal. You may be asking yourself, “why a wedding registry?” With a wedding registry on Amazon, you are able to contribute towards items instead of only having the option to buy outright. Even a contribution of a dollar towards any item would be a huge help for us.

SHAKA'S AND THE LAUNCH OF SKY YELLOW SUN BLUE
Our good friend, Steve Hurlburt, is about to publish a book of essays (SKY YELLOW SUN BLUE) about the Grateful Dead song, Scarlet Begonias. On June 21st, at Shaka's Backyard Space in Hampstead, North Carolina, we'll be throwing a show to greet the summer and help Steve launch his book. So book a hotel on the coast and join us on the road!
Gratefully yours,
Viva la Muerte
