Mar7

Tom Troyer is your host for an all ages presentation of local and regional music.

The Back Table is your newest mid sized venue to capture the essence of local art, music, culture, and community.

Your lineup for March 7 includes:

Viva La Muerte - Viva la Muerte is a spiritual walkabout, from the front porch to the desert to the magnolia, thoughtful music that doesn’t forget to have fun. VLM’s sound might best be described as psychedelic Americana if, by psychedelic, one means a place where borders blur and if, by Americana, one means a respect for the deep roots of American music.

Emily Stewart - "original tunes rooted in the folk, country, and blues traditions of the deep South w/ influences ranging from Odetta to Loretta. Raised in the belly of a family newspaper in a small South Alabama town, she finds a song in every story."

Agis Shaw - "I like to explore with instruments and sounds. I tend to go in unmeditated, see if I can surprise myself. I also like to write stories, memoirs on my guitar. What you call it is beyond me, I just call it music."

Katie Blvd - She is known for her smoky-sweet-deep voice, unconventional lyricism, bosso nova style guitar, and soul filled 90's inspired beat selections. She writes with hopes that people understand her, leave with insight, and a different view on the way to approach music and life itself.

Emorie Hush - New Single "Hollow Bones" Out 2/14! To follow up my first single, "Dance It Out," I'm sharing another song produced by Russell Kelly and mixed/mastered by Ethan Gingerich. "Hollow Bones" is a song about the peril and promise of vulnerability.

Tom Troyer is your host for this monthly residency. Expect several new tunes from his latest catalog as he's working on a new album.
